An online Eligibility Verification System (EVS) has been developed for law enforcement officers to search previously issued adult citations using uniquely identifying information, specific to an offender. The result is either a positive identification of a previous issuance or no previous issuances have been made. This system is specifically designed for law enforcement officials. When law enforcement agencies decide to participate in a communities program, the Network approves them for EVS access to check eligibility for previously issued adult civil citations.
